Songbook Volumes 3 & 4 is a double acoustic album. A collection of songs recorded in their most honest, stripped-back form. Live, one take, to click.

This project is part of a year-long, public experiment in independent music-making. Every copy is created, packed, and signed by hand, without labels, advances, or middlemen.

By pre-ordering this album, you’re not just purchasing music. You’re supporting the time, focus, and labour required to make it properly.

What this is

This is a physical, double acoustic album on CD.
All songs are written and performed by me, and recorded independently.

You’ll be able to follow the process publicly as it unfolds.

Each copy will be hand-signed before shipping.

About this pre-order

This is a pre-order item.

The artwork shown is a placeholder, and the final tracklist has not yet been locked. The album will evolve transparently as the project progresses.

This is intentional — you’re being invited into the process while the work is still being made.

Shipping & timeline

Shipping is planned for May 2026.

Orders will ship as soon as the album is completed and manufactured. You’ll receive updates throughout the process.

If anything genuinely prevents this album from being delivered within that timeframe, all pre-orders will be fully refunded.

Please note, that if you purchase anything else from my store, that's currently in stock. We will send two separate packages. Please expect a delay while we fulfil the orders we took over Christmas.

Refunds & transparency

If I’m unable to deliver this album as described, or if the project cannot be completed, all pre-orders will be refunded in full.

This is not funding a vague idea.
It’s supporting a project that’s already in motion, with a clear deadline and clear accountability.

Why physical?

Streaming is great for discovery.
Physical records create something different — permanence, memory, and a direct relationship between artist and listener.

This album exists because people choose to support it.

A Note on Delivery Before Ordering

The Mary Spender Store uses Royal Mail 'Tracked' Delivery only.

'Tracked' shipping provides a tracking number. If your package is lost when using the 'Tracked' option The Mary Spender Store will provide a replacement free of charge.

Please be aware that depending on where you are. There will be customs charges. Apologies that this is out of our control. The price reflects the true cost of independent production and shipping.

Orders are packed and shipped directly, without third-party fulfilment. Physical music is expensive to make and ship — especially independently — but this model allows the project to exist without compromising the work.
